Well, last night we had a Grenadian special in Caribbean Bacchanal as you know and then we played Berbice - Traffic remix with Shurwayne. I've been hearing this tune from the Grenadian artist a lot the last couple of month, and its really a rocking tune. Its real fast and has a nice electronic beat, and on top of that a wicked synthesizer sound in, real rave style.

Unleash de Deva

Back from the park. It was real nice, but short, we only played for two hours. Next time going to be longer; in Stadsparken in Lund the last of April. Be there and buzz a lime!

I just saw this interview with Jadine, de Soca Deva from Montserrat. She talked about singing to ABBA when a kid and more. She has a new album comming out called Unleash de Deva and Kamau has produced some track. I highly looking forward to that. Check the interview here:

Chardanai!

In UK there is one really nice soca artist called Chardanai. Her parents have Nigerian, Bajan & Lucian heritage. I hope I can get an interview with here for my radio show later on and hopefully she can come to Sweden to do a show. She has produced the tune Mental herself and its straight madness. I really like that tune, I hope more people will be repping Africa and that soca can grow bigger over there.. The other track is a tune called Soca Feelin and its a groovy soca song. Tracks comes from Black Roots Promotions. Big up!
