This year, just as last year, has had numerous opinions about the politics of carnival titles. Suspicions of bias judges and bribes has been debated. Kevin M Mack proposed in the Trinidad Guardian to implement the same voting system for road march as in the Chutney Monarch. In the Chutney Monarch you can send in your votes with text messages. I don´t know if it´s best practises but it´s an interesting idea.
