Basseterre,St.Kitts, (December 2008):-The track entitled “Like Doves” is the first song to be released from the bands upcoming album. The song was written by d’Vybz front lady Jacinth “Shakki” Smithen and produced by the young and talented Kittitian music phenom Gavin “Ras Anybody”Charles a member of d’Vybz as keyboardist since the band’s inception just 3 years ago. D’Vybz selected this song to be the first release as it is special to all their hearts. It is their tribute to carnival and it reflects the spirit of St.Kitts-Nevis carnival with thousands waving they flags like white doves in the sky.

The song is a power soca ballad which showcases the vocal energy and excitement of d’Vybz lead singer Shakki. The band’s entire 2008-09 St.Kitts –Nevis Carnival album release is scheduled for the 2nd week in December. The album will feature 9 exciting tracks
